It is our desire to honor and glorify Christ in everything we do, and music is one way to express our worship and praise to the Lord. Mrs. Susan Land teaches music for grades K – 8. Lower elementary students learn the fundamentals of music including rhythm, timing and reading musical notes. In third grade, students are introduced to recorders and continue to play them until fifth grade. Students’ musical abilities are showcased with performances on Grandparent’s Day in the Fall, during our annual Christmas program and in our Spring Musical at the end of the school year. Lower elementary students attend music twice a week for 30 minutes and upper elementary and middle school attend for 50 minutes once a week.
